Wow, very nice...and now I have one more person I can hate/love/live vicariously through! :D Very nice build, and good choices on your components, and especially on the lumber. Thanks for sharing!

My father in-law and I just put the moulding on. We used wood glue and screw to secure it to the bar top. We also shot a brad nail into the joint.

A shot of some of the screws.

We had to countersink a couple screws at an angle for the side piece becuase the bar top does not hang over.

Next I will let the glue set up so that I can sand the joint.

Fantastic build and thread! Thanks for sharing!!

You were certainly very modest when you refer to your construction skills as "ultra noobish"! Great job!! Enjoy that bar!

A few of those screws look deep enough to cover with some wood putty.
Mixed with the right stain they could completely vanish.

Someday I'll own my own house, and in that house I will build a bar, and I will use yours as inspiration.

Great job!

great lookin bar!!! I do love the CNCed sign. Adds a lot of personality.

What part of Indiana do you live in, Roller?

Wow, terrific work. Just curious if you have any carpentry experience. That is one of the best bars I've ever seen.
