does muntons lme (can 3.3 #) have expiration stamped on it?>
 
If your concern is whether or not an old can is still usable, the first thing to check is if the ends are bulging. If so, toss it. If not, you'll have to open the can and look at it. If it is supposed to be a light extract & it's black, toss it.
