Brewing a strong Scotch ale tomorrow in order for it to be ready by next Christmas. Borrowed the best of what I thought were the best brewers and added a twist of my own. I think by the time it is ready the anticipation will be pretty much overwhelming. Fingers crossed.

Taste: (30.0) Four ounces oak chips soaked in 8 oz whisky in secondary for seven days.

Sparge: Batch sparge with 4 steps (Drain mash tun, , 1.40gal, 1.40gal, 1.40gal) of 168.0 F water
Notes:

Remove three quarts of first runnings and carmelize it (boil down to about 1 pint) and add back to boil.

Boiling Time: 90 min.
Primary Fermentation: 7 days @ 62f
Secondary Fermentation: 7 days @ 58f
Additional Fermentation: two weeks @ 45f (or whatever the fridge temp is.)
