I had the idea to use a sun tea jar as a fermenter and wonder if anyone else has had success using one of these. It is the perfect set up in my mind. A glass jar with a pop top big enough to put a breather valve on, a pour valve just high enough up to keep the sediment from pouring out. Any thoughts?

I've thought of doing this for one gallon test batches too, but all I can find are plastic ones...
