I am going to do my first all grain (10 gal centennial blond) this weekend. I am using beersmith and dont know what type of mash to use, single infusion, double infusion,Temp mash, ect. then their is full body, medium body, ect. I will be using my rims system for the first time and will be whirlpooling the water the whole time. Also do you have the return water above the grainbed when constantly recirculating? I know,:D I built the cart before breaking the horse.

Basically you are doing a single infusion mash... right?

Also, the meduim body blah blah... that just chooses your mash temp for you... so, use the one that best matches the target mash temp of this brew. Or, just input the temp manually.

This is a single infusion mash, that is all.

Tell me the mash temp and I can throw it in my brew software for ya quickly...

Also, on my E-HERMS I keep my return line just below the liquid level in the MLT... I dont like splashing. Yah, some say HSA is a myth, but I dont want to test it ya know?

I have always been good to you!

Dont piss me off, or I will create a RANT thread concerning you too LOL

Hope the brew goes well... glad SOMEONE gets to brew on thier new rig...
