Recommend a great lager for a first lager brew.

I'm looking for a first lager recipe. I like Sam Adams Boston Lager and Oktoberfest lagers if that helps. I just got a chest freezer to control temps but still need to pick up a Ranco controller. I usually look at the recommended recipe locator for ideas but there aren't really any lagers there.
 
I've tended to rely on the recommended recipe locator for most of my recipes to ensure I get a good quality but I'm sure the recipe section has lots of good one too. I'll take a look.
