Ive Just about finished up my DIY Cooler to Mash Tun Conversion and Ive ran into an issue... My valve setup is not exactly water tight:(...its a very slow leak (just 8-10 drops per minute)...I think this is because the Rubber plug that came with the cooler is a bit loose around the Brass Nipple which connects to the valve...Ive tried adding orings and washers and The leak persists...I was wondering if there is a problem with using some kind of sealant to stop the leak? Is there a specific sealant which wont give off tastes, is safe for brewing, and can withstand the heat which the mash tun will undergo?

Thanks in Advance :mug:
