That's a concept version of my bottling station.

The bottle filler is pretty standard. most parts which in contact with the beer are stainless, execpt the co2 ball valve on the left.
The needle valve was replaced with adjustable pressure relief valve.

I've mount it on a piece of wood with spring lag, so it will hold the bottle while filling.

GJ! that's a pretty good setup and looks like you've made yourself a counterpressure filler that can easily be handled alone. When i get around to building a CP filler, i'm definitely keeping this in mind.

Love the simplicity of this CPF.
One question though - I'm having trouble finding a suitable relief valve. Do you have a part number and supplier for this?

Nice job... that's awesome!
Yeah, what pressure relief valve is that?
Do you have it set just slightly less than the Co2 pressure?

Thats the pressure valve

I've also ordered couple spare springs

Do you have it set just slightly less than the Co2 pressure?

Yes, trying to balance the flow rate and foaming.

It doesn't say it's adjustable. Is there a set screw in the top?
Did you use the 20lb spring?
Thanks for the links!

Yes, it's adjustable and I'm using the 20lb spring.
I would check with morebeer to make sure they didn't change the part.

Got one of those prelick - growler adapters, and tried it with my CPF.
worked perfectly with serving pressure (12 PSI)

This is brilliant!

One question, though:

The Stainless Gas Pressure Relief you've cited is rated at 55 PSI blow off. Did you modify this to allow CO2 escape at lower pressure or is it used strit out of the box?

The valve is adjustable 0-20 psi, straight from the box, same as the one in morebeer's filler.

Cheese: I'm having a heck of a time sourcing SS parts. Do you have a parts list and suppliers, please?

SWMBO has ordered a CPBF as my next DIY project so I can bottle her cider...:D

You can see the parts list in the first photo.
They were bought in Israel, but you can find most of it in stainless on Ebay.

The bottom part is 1/4 npt to 5/16 barb
The upper brass part is drilled with 3/8 bit so the tube can pass trough it.
