I just brewed this based on a recipe I found here once for a honey IPA recipe, but I can't remember who it was from. I'm hoping it will be a great drinkable aromatic pale/IPA.
for 5.5 gallon batch:
8 lbs. 2 row
3 lbs. honey malt
1 lbs. Munich
1 lbs. Vienna
FWH 1 oz. Columbus
20-ish minutes 1 oz. Centennial
10-flameout 1 oz. each of Citra, Cascade, and Simcoe.
My OG was about 1.058, right around where I wanted it. It tastes great, sweet, honey-ish, hoppy. I'm planning to dry hop with at least 1 oz. of Citra, and maybe an oz. of cascade..... a little warrior maybe.
Any thoughts about dry hop ideas?
