I'm looking for a nice summer ale extract recipe. I did a honey ale last summer that just wasn't that exciting. I have been looking for a SunRye clone with not much success.

What is your favorite summer ale recipe?

For an extract batch probably A dry and clean noble hopped Blonde ale. AG would more likely go for a similar cream ale. Something 20-25 IBU, OG 1.045-1.055 with a FG under 1.010.

I second the Saison or the Kolsch. I have my summer saison in the primary atm, recipe called for some lemon zest and crushed seeds of paradise.

But i really love a hefe, blonde or wit. May have to try a mothership wit clone from new belgium or one of my fav's the ommegang witte.

My cream ale has been well received too, had some friends over the other day drinking and bbq'ing out on the deck.
