I have been researching some sixtel pricing in my area and have noticed that half kegs are much more economical.

I was wondering if it was feasible for me to buy say a half keg of sierra nevada pale ale, and using my co2 system, transfer the beer into three cornies (with the equalized pressure method)

I saw many threads where people are doing this and methods, but my questions is; since kegged beer is not pasteurized, as long as the cornies are sanitized could I leave the other two at room temperature until I am ready to put them in my kegerator.

Yeah, you just need a sanke connector, it's pretty easy to rig up. Look in the gallery, there are some pics there.

You should be good storing the beer at room temp, but cooler is better.

Transferring beer is easy, I moved beer between four kegs Saturday.

Had to make room for my Munich Bock and get some 3 gallon kegs filled for Cinco de Mayo.
