I am working on a recipe for an AG stout to brew later this summer. I love Oatmeal and Coffee stouts so I may look at others recipes on here. I plan to expirament and use a lager yeast instead. I heard of a brewery in Iowa that does it every year. Has anyone tried to use lager yeast on a stout? ANy tips?

A stout works fine with a lager yeasts. I've had American-style stouts that were fermented with bock, california common, and koelsch yeasts, and they were great.
