They dont stick closed that bad, but after a day, they stick slightly and the first few oz. of beer are a little yucky.
Is this normal?

Exactly how slight is slight? I have five of them and they dont stick. I can however feel a real slight resistance as it moves off of its seat. I do believe this resistance is necessary otherwise the faucet would just open on its own. Due to the design there is also the co2 pressure to overcome. If you have 10 lbs of co2 on your keg, you also have 10lbs of co2 pressure holding the valve closed that must be overcome.

The first beer is more foamy due to line and faucet temperature in back of coffin.
