Didn't really know where to put this post.

Does anyone know where to buy Barley seeds (for growing Barley) that are sufficient quality for malting? All I'm finding are seeds for livestock feed.
 
I don't have any sources for you, but I do like that way your brain is going with this. How much space would you need to grow a decent amount of barley I wonder. How many acres would you need to be self sufficient for barley hops and other assorted grains for an entire year.... Sigh... maybe when I sell my duplex...

How much are you planning to plant?
