OK, I brewed an all extract stout. I don't use a secondary, and I added a cup of bittersweet chocolate nibs and a 14 oz bag of toasted coconut to the primary. Lag time was about 5 hours and then fermentation took off. It was insane for about 17 hours, and then, not so much... The airlock is still going at about 1 bubble every 5 seconds, but rior to that it was zinging along at about 1 bubble per second, and then it just kind of slowed down almost instantly. Any idea why? Is this normal? This is only my third brew attempt.

Thats normal fermentation. Just let it sit there for atleast a week and let it do its thang.

How did the chocolate coconut stout turn out? Coconut come through?

I'm brewing a chocolate coconut porter in a week.
