Ball lock faucet adapter?

Has anyone ever used one of these before? http://stores.kegconnection.com/Detail.bok?no=398

I want to get some but I had a few questions. It seems like with all the effort that people have to put in to balance their lines, etc. that these would never work quite right. Does anyone have any experience?

Secondly, the only place I seem to be able to find them is at kegconnection. Does anyone know of another vendor? I'm hoping to find the adapter only, and I want to be able to have some options on the faucet itself.

EDIT: Found a few more vendors and threads that I was somehow unable to see before? Looks like these don't work with Perlick faucets, is that true? Would still like to hear people's opinions on these. Thanks!
