I'm using an old igloo cooler as a swamp cooler and was wondering if anyone has had issues with the drain valves popping loose causing the cooler water to flood out.
I bought a new valve and everything for it to hope to avoid any leakage, but still would like to see if anyone else has had success with this method. Also, are the drain valves too thin to use pvc glue on? It's an old cooler that wont be used anymore so it doesn't matter if I permanently seal it.
