Ahhh GOOD GUESS! We actually offer 98 tags on the site although 97 ARE BJCP and a total coincidence. But because you found that you too get your choice of a tag. PM me your choice and your address and I will get it in the mail to you.

Since it's the solution to ø -1 = 1/ø it shouldn't have been too taxing to figure it out exactly.

The golden mean:

ø = 1/2 + sqrt(5)/2 = 1.61803398874989

obtained by solving 1/ø = ø - 1

i.e. ø^2 - ø -1 = 0

1/ø = ø - 1 = 0.61803398874989

It's kinda fun to let everyone guess

I tried to drop a few subtle hints along the way once I realized what was happening. Between those hints and taking a peek at the posts containing chosen numbers should be enough to solve the mystery.

I live in NY so it was all the posts closest to 3am on my timestamps

They were around 6 or 7 on my computer? I never would have guessed it had anything to do with the end of the day.
