Ok a clue even - the piece of equipment is definitely related to brewing, brew supplies sell them. However it is not involved with the process of brewing itself. And it is not the car you drove to the HBS in or anything dumb like that.

Is it used to measure/dispense specific volumes of liquid?

It does actually dispense specific volumes of liquid, and although this is an important part of its function the specific amount is of no great importance ;)

Nope. Ok last clue, if you guys can't get it I'm moving on to something easier.

When the liquid leaves the vessel, it is no longer liquid.

CO2 Cartridge

Man, your heart is in the right place. Accept for its glass.

It's an alcohol lamp. It's used in preparing yeast slants.

Go ahead and take it though. I don't want to do 2 in a row, too much upkeep

That was an excellent one! Cheers! :mug:

Bah, I even have one of those.

I wouldn't have said n/a to that one question though... its role in the process of making a given beer (which is the only timeliness we can really compare things to), is decidedly BEFORE pitching yeast.

I guess... It wouldn't have made you guess it though ;)
