Which category do you think would be best for this brew:

9# Maris Otter
1# Lt. Munich
1/2# Honey malt
1/4# Carapils

OG - 1.057
FG - 1.014

Washed slurry of Pacman Ale yeast in 3 qt. starter.

1/2 oz. Centennial 14% FWH
1/2 oz. Centennial 14% 60 min.
1/2 oz. Centennial 14% 7 min.
3/4 oz. Centennial 14% 2 min.
1.0 oz. Centennial 14% 0 min.

I calculated ~44 IBU. No dry hop.

I'm thinking it's prob not hoppy enough to be an American PA but I used American hops...so I'm not sure if English PA is appropriate either.

I think it is an American Pale Ale. The style guidelines show between 30-45 IBUs for an APA, and the hops are all American so that is what I would classify it as.

Thanks for the help. mmb's comment about many APA's being overly hopped for the style helps a lot.

I'd say the color is 6-ish SRM. Def on the lighter side of the 5-14 SRM range.
