It could be an o-ring or the poppet. I believe keg connection has the best deals on replacements for posts and post fittings.

Take the post apart and pop the poppet out and inspect it.

If it looks OK, put it back together with keg lube, tighten and check the pressure again.

Luckily I transfered the Apelwein to another empty as soon as i noticed. Which was about 5 minutes after I transfered from the fermentor. Hopefully the product is ok...we'll see in 30 days.

BTW I just got off the phone with Ben from KC, and he said a new post and poppet are in the mail. So, all is good.

start slamming the product NOW!!! Before it goes bad.

did I miss a few posts? I have no idea what this is supposed to mean.

I'd listen to the captain inspect and lube. I'd recommend ordering a couple of spares, guaranteed you'll have a problem one day and the lhbs will be closed or will charge 5x what they cost online

Drinking an entire keg in one setting should only be reserved for the direst of emergencies.
