Hello everyone. I am brewing an extract/specialty grain brown ale. My goal is to add a bit of a honey flavor. I have done all the OG calcs with the extract fermentables. I know that honey is a sugar and therefore fermentable. My goal is to add some honey, possibly after high krausen, to impart some flavor without increasing the abv substantially. Just wondering what others have experienced regarding this method. How much would you all recommend? Thanks

I used honey as the priming sugar in my honey stout 1.5 cups boiled in h2o and used just like priming sugar

+1 on using honey malt. You can also carbonate with honey instead of corn sugar. Just use ~1.25x the amount of corn sugar (by weight) and you'll be good. I would also aim for the lower end of the carbonation range for the batch.
