i bottled a honey brown last week (approx. 7 days ago) and temptation got the better of me and i tried on yesterday, it was still very flat. very little carbonation. my first beer i bottled i tried after a week, it was well carbonated. now the only difference is temp. when i did my first beer the temp was around 65f. the honey brown temp was 58f. is that the difference??? or does carbonation take longer? anyway i moved the beer to a warmer area of the house. any thoughts???

PATIENCE!!

I have waited almost a month for beers to carbonate. Enjoy the fact that you made something that tastes great and will change in flavor the longer it sits.

58's a bit cold, unless you're lagering, and that's a bit high for lagering.. raise the temp, let them condition for a few weeks and try again.
