I'm from Portugal, and I'm new to homebrewing.
I have my second Brewferm kit fermenting, and I want to prepare myself to the next step, the extract kits.
I have 2 beer kegs, and I want to use them in the process. I think that for extract kits I would only need one of them, but I'll need them both later for all-grain. So, I'd like you to tell me what can I do to my first keg, that I can use later for all-grain process.
So, I need your help to elaborate the project, then I'll start thinking on how I'll make it real
. My first idea was making an hybrid pot, with some immersion heaters, and the possibility to use gas either. I'll use an Arduino to control temperatures, and the heaters.
What else would I need for the extract method? Which other parts of the process can be automated, or simplified?
