This could be a good deal, depending on how much of this stuff you want/need.

I got outbid at $40: I don't really want a refractometer that badly, but I would have paid $40 for the lot and been happy.

The only thing there I could really use is the refractometer, and that would absolutely be a toy, not a tool, at this point. Just received my O2 system this morning, and the rest of it would be pretty redundant.

But, a moment of silence; we've lost a brother homebrewer...

Yeah--I need a couple more airlocks, the thief would be convenient, the bottle tree would have been nice, I don't like my current hydrometer, and I could have upgraded from a fish pump to an O2 system. But none of it, including a the refractometer, represented a real need. Plus SWMBO would have been pissed.

I only say it would be a toy for me right now because I'm not fly sparging. But hell, that one went for only $20; maybe I should be keeping my eyes open for one.

That lot of stuff went for like $90!

It's hard to imagine it was worth that to anyone, unless the person who bought it needed every singe thing there.
