Sweet Feed is a mix of grains (corn, barley, wheat, oats etc..) mixed with molasses. It is fed to cows/horses/goats/sheep etc...

Are the grains in the feed malted? (Not sure on this; it is called sweet feed maybe only because of the molasses?)

Has anyone tried to make a beer from this?

I am pretty sure they are not malted... Trying to remember from my feed store days. Believe they are just "rolled" or crushed lightly.

Sweet Feed Saison sounds a little too farmhouse, even for me. Not malted, not a good idea!

I've thought about that too. seems plausible to me. Maybe I'll try it one day. If you beat me to it, let me know how it turns out.

From what I've read on it, sweet feed also seems high in vegetable oil as well , that may play havoc with head retention . You may have to add wheat or Carafoam to the mash to combat the oils
