What styles of beer would you make for Christmas? By the way, I'm in Florida where it probably wont reach below 50 degrees.

Right now I'm leaning towards a nice Old Ale around 9% abv. Something with a little bit of heat on it to warm you up around a campfire.

Anyone else have any ideas for a Christmas/New Years beer? Thanks in advance!

I am making a stout for this winter, but I am planning a cranberry sour ale for next winter, let it sour all year. yum.

I did a foreign extra stout three ways: plain, with pb2, and with rum barrel oak. I also picked up NB's Saison de Noel kit.... I will doctor it up a bit, but haven't decided how yet.

I am making a spiced brown ale. Different spices than a pumpkin or fall type beer. Brewing it in a few days. Its actually a MoreBeer kit. Ill try and let ya know how it turns out.
