I have been wanting to build an all grain brew rig for some time, but was having a hard time finding 15.5 gallon ss kegs for the keggle conversions. I had all of my buddies, family members, patients, etc. looking for me. One of my patients brought in 3 kegs last week, which were in excellent condition. I have already started the buffing and polishing and ordered parts for the conversions.

This morning I had a message on my desk to call another one of my patients. She indicated that she has 3 kegs at her house for me, which she aquired through a friend at a local brewery. I feel horrible that she went through the effort and now I don't need them. I guess they are in very good condition, as far as kegs go (no dents/deep scratches). Her friend wants $50 each and they are legal kegs! Not sure if they would come down in the price, but $50 isn't a terrible price. Let me know ASAP if you live in SE Michigan and if you are interested. Thanks!

Yeah....that would be me. I guess I should delete the CL postings. As indicated, I have been on a mission to get my hands on three, so I was using every source possible. Thanks....do you need any kegs? :D

there is more than one person looking on CL (one of which is from Ortonville !!! LOL)

Seriously.....are you really interested? Next month I am heading up to Lake Ann, just a little SW of Traverse City with my buddy to his cottage for a weekend away from the wives and kids. If I'm not mistaken, I believe we pass right by Reed City. We typically take US 23 to I75 to US10 to M115.... isn't Reed City off of US10? Anyway, I may try to get the price down to $40 each, but not sure if he will. If you would be willing to pay $60 each, then I would make $60 in the deal to throw on black at Turtle Creek Casino. I would be willing to make it happen, but I don't want to get stuck with 3 more kegs that I don't have a use for if you were to back out. Let me know ASAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:mug:

$50 is pretty nice price. I wish I was down that way.

I'm good for right now, but let me ask a few friends. If it weren't for the fact that I have a couple of projects being worked on, and having spent most of my spare cash on Christmas gifts, I'd snatch them up.

Hold on...

OK...Let me know ASAP. I feel bad that she went through the effort to help me out. She was supposed to call me if anything was going to pan out, but the owner of the brewery just dropped them off at her house and said that he wanted $50 each. Drop me a line and let me know. I know that she wants to get rid of all 3 ASAP and doesn't want to inconvenience the guy who dropped them off, because he did her a favor. I really don't have a use for another one, so what to do, what to do?

Hmmmm.....I may be interested in one or two. Been thinking about moving my fermentation to sankes.

One guy said he'd take 2 and he's sending me the money now. I have not heard from the other guy yet, but I think the first guy would be willing to sell him one of his if need be.

EDIT: Never mind about asking for less...

PM me your vacation schedule and I'll see if I can manage to meet you at US10 and M115 junction. I think there is a Gas station convenience store right there. (Almost got a speeding ticket driving to Central to see my future wife at that spot).

OK guys, here's the situation. I called this patient back this morning and told her that I would put a post on HBT to see if there was any interest for them. I told her that I was pretty certain that I could get rid of them for her, so not to worry about it. It's not 4:00 and I just got of the phone with her again and said that I could easily get rid of these for her. She said that the guy who dropped them off at her house yesterday swung by and got them early this afternoon, since I was tied up with patients and she hadn't heard back from me. I just left a VM on his cell telling him that I would take them, so I'm just awaiting a call back from him. Evidently his family owns Frankenmuth Brewing, but he doesn't physically work there, he works in Bloomfield. Hopefully he calls back and I can get these to you guys without a hitch.
