I just mashed in an IPA. Never dry hopped with Chinook so it should be a good learner. Might even get a little bit of Cascade to Dry hop with as well. Really trying to find out what just a bitter addition to an IPA tastes like and then dry hop it well.

Last Otter IPA

5.5 gal
1.075 / 1.019 / 46IBU / 9 SRM

78% 11.75lbs Marris Otter ( the last of the sack, hence the name)
3% .5lb Wheat
2% .25lb Crystal 60L
3% .5lb Crystal 40L
14% 2lb Victory

1.5oz Chinook (60 min)
.5 oz Chinook (Dry Hopped at day 5 for a week)
1.5 oz Centennial (dry hopped at day 5 for a week)

Mashing right now at 154 for an hour, less would be better but I didn't want to stir it for ten minutes. Will sparge with 167* and then boil for 60 min.

I don't know if it will be good or not, but I think that it will suffice seeing as I am about to run out of my other IPA. This is just shy of being Imperial, but I was actually hoping to have less sugar, around 1.065. Turned out my Marris Otter had a smidgen more than I thought and so it becomes about 1.075.
