I am entering a small non sanctioned competition and am having a hard time choosing a category number. It is a brown ale much like a southern English brown but the OG is higher than a Southern @ 1.055. The beer came out great. The form i'm using is from the BJCP site. Thanks in advance

I guess you just have to ask yourself how noticeable the alcohol is. If you're out of style in that manner, but it still possesses all the proper qualities of a southern brown, it shouldn't make much of a difference.
