Hey guys, I have my primary sitting in a swamp cooler about level with the beer. My swamp cooler took a bit to cool bc i started too late, but i have managed to get the water between 58-66 degrees. Without disturbing the beer to get temperature, what is a good estimate of the temp inside?

Thanks
Shiz

That's a big temperature range.

Anyway, with a water level that high, you can assume the temp inside the fermenter is the same. I think some here have experimented and found maybe a .5 degree F difference or so when fermentation is going strong.

cool thanks, the only reason for a big range is when i go to work it sometimes fluctuates up. plus those were extremes im usually hitting 60-62
