I bought:

*a small craft stool at AC Moore for $15
*four square wood pieces for $0.69 each
*four 3/8" threaded screw-in pieces for the bottom of each handle for about $1 each
*spray paint
*chalkboard paint

I took the 4 legs off the stool, then notched the top of each leg so that the square would fit flush with the rest of the leg.

Did a once over with some sandpaper.

Glued the square onto the notched leg.

Drilled 1/2" holes in the bottom of each of the legs and screwed in the threaded pieces.

Spray painted. Chalkboard painted.

Total bill was around $8 per handle AND I have a can of chalkboard paint to play with now!

Sweet tap handles, sweet looking setup. What size freezer is that?

Now, for some :off:

Does anybody have plans to make the tap handles that accept business card size slide-in labels?

It's an old MOngomery Ward freezer that the previous owners of my house left there. Inside is 30"x23.75"x40.5." So what is that, around 16 cubic ft?
