I'm looking at the master built sportsman elite 30" but the two door version that is slightly more expensive. I just wondering is the having that separate door for the water pan and wood chips worth it, I understand it really helps from the heat dissipating and big fluctuations in temp. Any info would be great. Thanks

Yes, I have the 2 door, it is worth the cooking time savings, opening a single door adds significant time to your smoking. The water pan doesn't require frequent filling, but for the first several hours, I add lots of wood to get nice smoke.
