Hey everyone! Question... I've got an interview today for an assistant brewers position. For any other job, I would dress in slacks and a tie...but I'm a little hesitant for this. I'm thinking that maybe he'll want me to work today, so I don't want to be overdressed. Plus...it's brewing and most professional brewers that I know are pretty laid back. Any thought on appropriate attire for this interview? I was thinking a nice pair of jeans and a button up shirt with work boots.

I would still wear the shirt and tie.. It can't be held against you..

But I would bring a change of cloths just in case...

Yea I would ask them, but jeans and a nice button down is probably not a bad way to go.

Best of luck!

I would have gone with either shirt and tie or slacks and a tucked in polo shirt.

Yes, how did it go?

Typically 1 step above their dress code. So if they wear T-shirts, dress in casual. Dress code casual, wear a tie (business pro.) and so on.
