Is this a viable solution for those that don't have large wort pot/mash tun?

I do not have a large pot enough to do 5 gallons although that's the amount I want to do.

I can do upto about 2.5 gallons on the saucepan that I have

So what I'm considering doing is to make wort out of 2.5 gallons with malt etc. (Which will have higher gravity) for 5 gallons. After the cooling is done, I intend to put the wort into the fermentation chamber then pour water out of spring water to make it 5 gallons.

English is not my first language, but I hope I made a sense there.

Thanks in advance.

Most of us started with partial boils and many beer kits are designed for the method.

South Korea, the hellhole of off-the shelf craft brewery (although the law is planned to change next year)
