I live in Las Vegas. It is very very windy here all the time.

I tried to brew today. Then the wind kicked up halfway through the brewday. Now I can't seem to keep my keggle boiling. (It is blowing pretty good). My normal boil off is approx 25%, so I started with 7.33 gallons of wort. I am about 2 hours in and still have a half gallon to go to get to 5.5 gallons (the wort is hovering just below boil).

Is this going to affect the brew too much (other than a slightly higher utilization of the bittering hops)?

I WILL NEVER BREW ON A WINDY DAY AGAIN!!

Pick up some flashing at Lowe's or Home Depot. Cut it in half and do this.
