Ok so my M&J came out wrong due to my substitutions... (learning you can't do that and get what you want)

So I tried mixing 50/50 with my Heff (the cloudy is gone now at the end of the keg) Turns out it's GREAT that way!

So as I'm almost out of Heff... and I have an ESB coming on Keg tomorrow...

If my M&J is too Grassy (hopy).. would the ESB help balance it? Or do I need to brew a Heff to mix with it? as my try made a great drinking beer.

Any ideas?

Do you Blend Beers that don't necessarily taste as you like by themselves to make a great drinking beer?

I usually have a light and a dark beer on tap and frequently have a "black and tan."

I would say that if the beers are ok, but not to your liking (ie too hoppy) that mixing with the right beer might help. If the beer just doesn't taste good, then I'm not so sure.
