Tasting Notes
Slightly hoppy dark lager.
(I don't know why the recipe type reverted to all grain)

16 oz Pilsner Malt
4 oz caraHell
4 oz extra dark crystal
4 oz carafa II

4 lbs Pilsen light DME
1 lb Rice syrup solids

2oz NZ Hallertau Aroma Hops
2 oz NZ cascade hops

Wyeast 2112 California Lager

Steep grains for 30 minutes at 155 F. Bring to boil, add DME, rice solids, and Hallertau hops, boil 45 minutes. Add 1oz cascade hops, boil 10 min, add 1 more oz cascade. Boil 5 more min, cool wort, aerate, top off water, pitch yeast.

For those with colder climes, you can use the 2035 lager and ferment at 48 F.
