Brewing Supplies, Islip, NY

Hi all,

I live in West Babylon and I needed some emergency supplies so I headed to Arbor in Islip to pick them up (10 minutes before they close!). It was the first I've been there, but they seem to have a good selection. Does anyone else have recommendation of brewing supply joints on the island?

And they keep their yeast refrigerated!

There's a place called Hoptron Boutique in Patchogue, Karp's in East Northport and Brewtopia in Port Jefferson. Those three are pretty much the only homebrew supply shops I know of in the immediate area other than Arbor. In my experience Karp's is the best. They have the greatest selection at the lowest prices.

Oh, I will also add that if you ever walk into a homebrew place that doesn't keep their yeast in a refrigerator, walk back out.
