Oldest thread, can you find it?

We spend a good amount of our time as forum rats, using the search function to reference new questions/posts.

So why not make a game/contest for who can find the oldest post on the forums that's still available.

I tried to search for a generic word and sort accordingly, but it didn't work.

So lets see who can find the oldest thread!

How long has this site been in around?

Post in here, the date and then a link to the topic's first page.

TxBrew has a join dated of Feb 2004.

Thought it would be an easy one to find his first post.

I should stop thinking.

Without doing an actual search, I am betting it is a "is my beer ruined" thread.

Either that or a " I have ten days to get from burner to bottle cause I said I would brew for a wedding, what do you recommend" thread.

Sorry for the cynicism, but in keeping with the forum in which this thread was posted, I have been drinking............

The first post for TX I could find was ironically asking for mods, lol
