Rice syrup solid substitute?

I received my Austin Homebrew American Rice Lager kit today and it was supposed to include 1lb of Rice Syrup solids but the kit only included an 8oz package of solids. My question is, would corn sugar be an adequate replacement for the missing oz of solids or would extra light DME be better? I don't mind using DME but would that take away from the "adjunctness" I'm shooting for in this style?

I think you would be okay either way. With only 8 oz of DME, you won't be giving up too much.

Corn sugar would probably work.

I'd give AHS a call, and see what they suggest. They should be able to either explain why you got less than the recipe indicates, and tell you of a good alternative.
