So today is the day I finally will be using my new Hop Rocket. I have a an ounce of Simcoe leaf and ounce of Amarillo leaf ready to use in it. It's going to be hooked up between the pump and the plate chiller and I'm psyched to finally use it.

Any last minute advice, potential problems, things I should pay attention to, etc?

It worked great! Put 2 ounces of whole leaf in, gave the boil kettle a good whirlpool, and then opened it up and turned on the pump. Throttled the outflow so that it passed through slowly (both for more contact time with the hops and with the plate chiller). It smelled amazing! I want to make every beer with this thing.

When I opened up the hop rocket to clean there was a lot of trub mingled in with the hops so they looked to have done a good job acting as a filter as well.
