So I finished the whole brewing process for a Brewers Best - American Pale Ale. I popped one open today and had a taste and well... not bad, until you got to the aftertaste.

The aftertaste tastes like dirty hops of some sort. Another way to explain the taste is hops that just don't taste right.

I was wondering if anyone has had this problem. I know there isn't anything I can do about it now but I was just curious as to what might have happened. Here's the light version of what I did.

Cooking as per instructions where pellets were dumped in at the time instructions indicated.

5 days in primary.
6 days in secondary.
2 weeks in bottles.

Should I wait longer and maybe that after taste will go away?
