Ok, So I started my 5 gal batch last night. I got the temp down to about 80 deg and put the top on. The room the bucket is in is 67 deg. Unfortunatly, the therm on the bucket still reads 78 deg almost 12 hours later. I'd rather it be fermenting around 70 deg. Should I just giveit more time to come to room temp or what? Thanks.

It can take quite a long time to let it cool just sitting at room temp. If you're looking to speed things up you might want to fill your bathtub with some cold water or use a larger bucket full of cold water and set your fermenter in that.
