I'm trying to say "It is not your mama's beer" in french. Using the english > friend dictionary online this is the best I came up with: ne se bière des tu Mères

Is that even close?

Looks more likely than what I came up with. It's what I'm naming the belgian I brewed with you Yuri. I'll be putting it in the clearing tank Wed or Thur. Can't wait to taste it.

Something more like:

Ce n'est pas la bière de votre grand-mère

as well as the plural form, which i like better: ... de nos grand-mères

I am fluent in French, BTW, like, hmm, native...

Note that I have used "grand-mère", not mère, which is more in line with the spirit.

Even though it is correct, still, it feels a little off, not quite colloquial French... Maybe you need to tell us more about the context...?

Try to feed it through an online translator and see if you like the English version! (use the plural form).
