I made a few things from copper pip - a whirlpooler that attaches to my immersion chiller and a mash recirculator that sits over the grain bed in my cooler mlt and slowly recirculates mash water.

I cleaned up the outside but I was wondering if I should boil the copper pieces for a certain period of time to get any addtional crud off of them (especially the inside)?

i boil stuff that i solder together just to get excess flux off the inside of the pipes (that stuff is safe, but greasy).
