Need some help decifering this anylate sample list. I am horrible with chemistry and I cannot seem to locate some of the info I need on this sheet. I sent my town's water dept an e-mail and was sent to the IL EPA Drinking Water Watch page.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Here is the info, the first link is where you enter it. The second link is the anylate sample list I am referring to. I included the first link in case I am looking at the wrong sample list.

Water System Number: IL0311620
Water System Name: Lemont

Thank you fellow HBT friends!

Not surprisingly, the water report is a listing of the contaminant performance. The stuff we brewers are interested in is the Secondary Parameter list. As you might guess, these are of secondary interest to many utilities and they are not legal requirements for them to test or monitor. You will probably have to have your own sample sent off for this secondary parameter testing.

Is ward lab generally considered the best option?

I can't speak to the best aspect of your question, but they're certainly cheap and they seem reasonably accurate. They also have a good turn-around time. Keep in mind, if you get a report from them, that you have to multiply the sulfate level by 3.
