I am sure that there are many threads on this already, please forgive me, I am a noob to this forum. I was able to score a decent 13 CF chest freezer that I want to turn into a Keezer. I have spent some time googling and searching. I really love some of the fancy designs, but I think I want something sleek and simple. This will be a garage bar keezer, so I am not going for elegant, although jester's and hopheads are pretty amaizing. I do appreciate the help, i look foward to being a part of this community!

Fatman,

Welcome...there are tons of ideas here on the forum.... I finished mine last week, and still need to add some pictures. My advice would be to look on the forum and check out the many threads that show various works or art, and go from there. You are only limited to your imagination, budget, and time. I personally choose the collar that is attached to the lid. This allows me to fully open the freezer and lift the beer lines, taps, gas block etc out of the way to allow easy access to the inside of the freezer for adding kegs, changing, removing corneys and co2 tanks. Mine is a six tap system with two co2 tanks (I already had them) one for the beer set at 12 lbs, and one for soda for the kids @ 25-30 lbs. I also have room for two extra kegs hooked to the co2 for conditioning. My freezer is a 15 cu ft. Here is a link to what I have done, minus a few of the completed pics. http://http://waorgany.blog.com/ This sticky thread was very good to read through and see what everyone else has done and thought of in the past. "SHOW us Your Kegarator" https://www.homebrewtalk.com/f35/show-us-your-kegerator-29053/ All the best and good luck on your build!!!! :mug:

Hey fatman, im especially fond of mine :) check out mine below. I liked the look of the coffins vs the collars but its your choice. You can do a coffin build much simpler than mine - mine sits in my dining room :)

Thanks for the compliment Fatman....

I couldn't help but notice your location. Buy all the goodies, then fly me out for a week or two, and I'll build you whatever you want.... :mug:

That would be a pretty sweet idea, so you can swing by on your next vacation :)
