I visited my LHBS yesterday, and he said there are very good (for an extract kit). He's had good results doing just as you say, reboil, add hops etc.

Yeah one of my mates tried these a couple of years ago, and since then has done nothing else but swear by them, his only trouble is that his house is full of 15lt empty containers!

Personally, I haven't had any success with making a tasty brew out of Brew House kits, but a lot of other people around here have and swear by them.
