I haven't been too happy with Pigeon Head beers. Some were okay, but a few of the lagers I tried most recently were way too sulfury. They seem hit and miss right now.

Favorite Brewery: Banger Brewing. I absolutely love their IPA's, they are essentially exactly what I look for. Only downside is that its only a tasting room, but I can get over that by dipping in a to go beer while my girl is at Downtown Container Park. El Heffe is also the first pepper beer I've had, that I enjoyed. Hopefully they start kegging soon, so I can find it at Aces & Ales or Tacos & Beer.

Favorite Brewpub: Ellis Island. Not the fanciest brews, but it is definitely the one I frequent the most. Working late swings, right next door. Nothing like getting steak and eggs and a couple beers at 1AM for under $10.

Favorite Gastropub: Tacos & Beer. This place pretty much hits all my major desires, mainly tacos and beer. Their tap list is awesome, always have a good selection of Belgians. The tacos are the best tacos I've ever had. The vibe is pretty hipster which is the only downside.

Favorite Beer: Hops Anonymous by Banger. My favorite beer not just in Nevada, but probably anywhere. It's fresh, floral and sweet.

I still really need to try Crafthaus and Bad Beat Brewing, Henderson is just a hike from me. I just saw one called Old School Brewery on DI and Durango, so I'll have another option a bit closer.

"775 Gastropub is now a Cheesecake Factory" is possibly one of the saddest sentences I've ever had to say out loud.

Ain't that the truth... and right after I made beer jedi, too!

Pigeon Head is good, I haven't been super impressed by Stony Head or UnderTheRose... some of their stuff is good, a lot is only so-so.

St. James is bottling their beers now, so far I've liked all of them except the Plum 'lambic'.

ARRRGG! My BIL was eight away.

I have yet to have Stony Head. But I like UnderTheRose because they do a lot of farmhouse/saison beers and the set-up is pretty sweet. You'd walk right past it a million times without noticing it and there are a ton of games there (pool, foosball, and the big ones, ping pong and A FRIGGIN INDOOR BOCCE PIT!)

Whaaaaaaaat?! Very nice, I love seeing the expansion. A lot of their beers are awesome but I love Brasserie for the food *drool*

Craft Haus and Bad Beat in the Henderson Booze District deserve a mention.

Craft Haus has a GREAT IPA, and my wife loves their Saison. They are also instituting "Firkin Friday" in which they tweak one of their beers with something interesting, and serve a single firkin, first-come, first served.

Bad Beat gets my attention with a Basil Pale Ale, and an Imperial Breakfast Stout.

All the firkin events happen on the weekend, Banger does theirs too. They need to do an industry Monday or Tuesday firkin event for all us casino workers lol.

Lee's is carrying bad beat, but I keep trying to hold off to try them on tap at the brewery. I'll probably crack and get the basil one though. Sounds awesome

I love when breweries and tap houses do those. If I'm in a new place I always ask if they have anything on cask.

I was in Craft Haus last week, and they are awesome. The brewers are super knowledgeable and totally willing to share. They started out homebrewing. Definitely worth a stop if you're in Henderson.
